What a lovely place with amazing food, excellent staff and a buzzy atmosphere. I must highly recommend the chicken appetizer. I totally lost sense of time eating every morsel of that chicken. The ghee dhosa is delicious, the parrota is perfectly flaky and the chicken and mutton curries were delightful. Ownership is so kind and hospitable. We are coming back again and again and again!!

Best Indian cuisine I've had in the area. That tray? I left it clean. Any other Indian place in the area, I have not had the same motivation to write about. The curry is spiceful and wonderful, while still making sure to keep standard on the rest of their food.
I myself had the unlimited weekend lunchtime deal. So on top of eating good food, it was a good deal. Have recommended it to my friends for a special occasion or for if they're real hungry. Will probably eat here again next month.

Once of the best restaurant if you are looking to some authentic South Indian cuisine. Absolutely worth for each dollar. We had bought a mutton thali and a chicken special thali. We couldn't finish the food as it was little too much for each person. Note that this place is mostly crowded due the popularity.!

Authentic South Indian Flavors Done Right!
We visited Kuppana with friends, and it instantly became one of our favorite spots in Dallas. The food tastes just like home..full of rich, authentic South Indian flavors. I ordered the Mutton meal, which was absolutely delicious, and my wife had the Chicken Kara dosa, super filling with the perfect balance of spices in every dish.
The highlight for me was the Pineapple Kesari first time trying it, and it was love at first bite! The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the overall vibe was cozy yet lively. Definitely recommending this place to anyone craving real South Indian food in Dallas. 🌶️🍛

Absolutely one of the best gems in Plano! The service was amazing, the food was fantastic and they had a pretty good rockin set list of new dance such as Chikttu. Everyone was lively here. The Southern Indian Crusine Crushed it on all aspects of my craving today. Their deserts are not too sweet like many in town fyi. So many beautiful perfume dishes. All the chicken dishes I tried today was phenomenal.

Keep it up.. One of the best restaurants in Dallas which is worth the hype and only restaurants which gives the same taste like their authentic taste in Tamilnadu. Good work guys keep it up.
I tried Idly, Dosa, Oothappam , Parota , Kal dosa, Fried Rice, Kothu Parota, Seeraga Samba briyani ♥️, Chicken curry, Mutton Curry, Chicken 65.. Everything was so good .

A New Favorite - Outstanding Food, Service, and Atmosphere!
I recently dined at Kuppanna and had an absolutely incredible experience. As an Indian food enthusiast with many Indian friends, I don’t say this lightly - this is exceptional quality. In school, I lived with an Indian roommate for 2 years, so I know good Indian food, and this truly stands out.
I ordered the Kongu Mutton Biryani, and the food was simply amazing - the quality and flavor were exceptional. The raita and gravy that accompanied the biryani were wonderful complements to the dish.
I paired my biryani with a mint tea, which went together perfectly. Afterward, I enjoyed two chais (in the tumbler and davra styles), and even the chai was of exceptional quality.
The service was excellent throughout my visit. John, the manager, and the staff made sure everything was perfect.
What really elevated the experience was the live band, Texas Desi Tunes, performing during my meal. As an American, I didn’t fully understand all the words, but the music was beautiful and added so much to the overall atmosphere.
This is now my new favorite restaurant. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family with me. Highly recommend!

Had a great South Indian lunch at Kuppanna in Plano. The Kuzhambu Kalakki was rich and comforting. The mutton biryani made with fragrant jeera samba rice was flavorful and aromatic, served with excellent raita and chicken gravy. The Chicken Pallipalayam with kuska was a standout—tender chicken, fresh coconut, and authentic flavors. Finished with refreshing nannari sarbath. Overall, tasty food and a pleasant dining experience. Would definitely visit again!
